They we’re having a big catfish tournament and I couldn’t afford the 2,500 to enter so I went and fished for fun in Vicksburg, Mississippi. I caught this big blue 30 minutes after missing a big one that the hook didn’t set. I was using a technique called bumping, one rod and a trolling motor, letting bait walk down the river. I was listening to blues music and bam! He put on a good fight. I was by myself & Mr. Bill Dance was up river from me. I’ll never forget that fish .
