Caught these blue cats weighing 68 and 40 pounds fishing the Mississippi River south of Vicksburg on July 10th, 2023, around Togo Island, using deep water jugs baited with skipjack. Left to right: Uncle Kelly Landers and great-nephews Presley and younger brother Ruston.

Missed him the day before and ended up coming back to the same spot the next day and double lung shot him.
I took 2 of my grandsons crappie fishing on bay springs lake.
