Prothonotary warbler

I was sitting in a Deer stand at Togo Island hunting club on the Mississippi river. I didn’t see any deer that day, but this sunrise made it all worth it.

This picture was taken recently in our neighborhood. Spring Valley Estates, Mathiston. It was in a tree that overlooks our neighborhood lake.

Warren Co. Peak of the rut. Several small buck chasing does and this big boy just shows up.
